Cycle routes

The Nation cycle network offers spectacular routes that link Cardigan, Newport and Fishguard. is the closest to Eglwyswrw and offers both gentle and steep inclines through the Teifi valley towards Newport and the Gwaun Valley towards Fishguard.

Coastal and woodland walks
​
The Pembrokeshire coast offers a range of coastal, hill, woodland and rural landscapes, walks can be from gentle strolls along quiet country lanes to long walks on wild cliff-top tracks, and the nearest located only a few hundred metres away in the Pencelli forest.

Our favourite walks
​
Ceibwr Bay, super valley walk, bit steep but have a stop at Penrallt garden centre. Walk south to Witches Cauldron.
Pengelli forest. Felindre Farchog Stunning woodland, well signposted and a variety of circular walks.

Dinas Coast to Coast on flat tarmac path there and back 30 minutes, free to park at Pwllgwaelod Trust box at Cwm yr Eglwys

Wild Mushroom foraging
​
Nik Westacott, owner of Ffynnon Fair has been gathering wild mushrooms for the last 30 years during which time he has starred on Sky and Channel 4 TV, hosted Fungi days for Chichester and Emsworth Food Festivals, West Dean Gardens and Weald and Downland Museum.
These fun and educational days or weekends allow you to be confident to pick and prepare certain wild fungi.
